I don't have a photo from yesterday as I forgot my camera so I've popped this LO on instead. Its one I did for my mum for Christmas. Its her and my sister taken last year.
This blog is about nothing at all really - just our everyday comings and goings and the things that interest my family and I
This photo was taken at a winery in Pt Lincoln. I love the beautiful colours of the leaves.
Now just in case you think we look like the normal everyday family I thought I'd post these to shatter that illusion!!!!!
Hopefully I'll be back with some new creations once my shifts are over - thanks for visiting!
This one was done for a challenge at Debs but I didn't get it done in time to submitted it (oops!!!!). The colours look much brighter in real life. Its of Tim and I taken a year or so ago at a friends birthday.

These came from the lovely Amanda who I participated in a photo swap with over at Deb's (check it out if you haven't before http://www.debscreations.net.au/forum/)
I love the way she has managed to capture both the boys personalitites exactly.
The boys love them too especially Tennyson who keeps coming back to the table where they are laying for another look. He said to me earlier "how does that lady know I love to read?" I should have said 'because I sent her an email telling her what you guys like to do' but instead I told him she was psychic......was that wrong?????
Well Strawberry Pops to be exact....actually imported South African Strawberry Pops to be even more exact!
I was conned! A new store has recently opened here, which sells imported items from the US, Britain and a few other places, and Josh talked me into going with him to have a look inside as saw some drinks he wanted to try. He had spotted some cans of Dr Pepper, Grape flavoured lemonade etc. that he was keen to try as well as some other products that he had seen on TV but had never tried (not that I minded too much as they sell Hersheys Peanut Butter Cups which are my faves - Mmmmmm!!!).
Anyway to cut a long story short I was feeling generous and allowed him to choose a few things to bring home and try and these Strawberry Pops were one of the things he wanted to try. I didn't look at the price tag and didn't reallt think too much of it when the lady told me the total price as I assumed being imported items that they would be a little more expensive than normal. It wasn't till we got home that I took a closer lok at the box and almost choked when I saw the little yellow tag with $11.95 stuck to the side!
To make matters worse once the boys had a bowl each they decided that they weren't that nice and didn't want to eat any more of them so for the last 4 weeks I have been eating bowls of these things because there was no way I was going to be throwing them away after thay had cost me so much in the first place. I finally finished the last of them on the weekend and let me tell you I never want to see another pink oven toasted grain of rice!
Have I learnt a lesson from this? Yes, never trust your children!
